Having set high benchmark and getting huge acknowledgement, the ASW’s (Apparel Sourcing Week) second edition will now be held from 18th to 20th June 2020 (postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus) in Bengaluru (India) and is set to be much bigger than the previous one. AOI Feb. 2020 issue dedicates this issue to the event with special coverages. Meanwhile, Indian textile and apparel industry, especially exports, is forcing companies to rework on their expansion plans. Team AOI identified around 75 companies from across India, which announced to expand in the last three years and tries to figure out their status. The investment announced by these companies varied from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 100 crore. The issue also shares Gap Inc.’s sustainable fashion report released recently.
